Diced Almond Crusted White Fish
Protein-packed and full of lean flavor we encrust our fish filets with a blend of spices and Select Harvest Almond Shakerz diced almonds for a unique and delicious take on crusted fish. Easy enough for a week night, yet elegant enough for candlelight!

Ingredients

1 Cup Select Harvest Almond Shakerz - Natural Diced Almonds
½ Cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1 TSP Kosher Salt
1 TSP Black Pepper
1 TBS Garlic Powder
1.5 TBS Ground Cardamom
3 Large Eggs
4ea Filet of White Fish
Vegetable Oil.
Directions
Prepare your coating station.
In a bowl, whisk 3 large eggs
In a second bowl, combine diced almonds, panko breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cardamom.
Preheat a heavy bottomed pan on medium-high heat and coat the bottom with a layer of vegetable oil.
Dip each filet into the egg wash, then coat with the almond mixture and press almonds into the fish gently so they stick.
Carefully lay the filets in the hot oil and fry both sides until the coating is golden brown and the fish is cooked through.
Remove fish from oil and set on a rack or paper towels to remove excess oil, serve with sides of your choice!

We recommend serving with grilled polenta and sautéed broccoli.
